Tv presenter and punditry training day
Fancy your chances as the next Gary Lineker or Alan Shearer?
Brightness Media (the official media partners of The F.A), in conjunction with The PFA, now give you that opportunity.
Each Client will present 2 shows;
- A Sports News Show
- A Match of the Day Style Show
The shows will be shot in a live TV studio, with 3 cameras and a fully operational set – the same studios used by British Eurosport.
You will take turns to present, be a guest, and be a reporter. You will be taught autocue techniques, body language skills, interview techniques and how to counter nerves and increase confidence in front of the camera.
As a presenter you will learn to work with an earpiece, under instruction from our award winning Director, Gavin Scovell. Gavin directs football, cricket and rugby for all the major global broadcasters.
You will learn how to present under live conditions and hit counts to off-air. We will simulate the exact environment you would face should you be a presenter or a pundit on a live sports show like Match of The Day or Football Focus.
After each show you will be assessed one-one by our experienced presenter trainers - watching back the show in which you just performed. After the day you will be given a DVD of your performances.
The day lasts from 0900am-1700pm and costs £995 plus VAT per person. Maximum of 6 clients per day.
PFA SPORTS COMMENTARY TRAINING DAY
Brightness Media runs the only current Sports commentary course in the world.
You will be given intense instruction about commentating for your chosen sport. You will be taught the difference between TV and radio commentary and partake in a minimum of 4 commentary stints.
We bring in the best football commentators to train you - current commentators like Clive Tyldesley, John Roder, Peter Drury or Nigel Adderley so you will get the best possible instruction.
You will begin by doing ‘colour’ (or second) commentary and then lead commentary. After each 20 minute slot you will be assessed individually by our expert in a separate room. Your clips will be compiled onto a DVD for you to take away.
The day lasts from 0900am to 1700pm and costs £995 plus VAT per person. Max 4 clients per day.
You will also benefit from our extensive contacts in the TV sports industry as we will help mentor your career from then on free of charge. We will put you in touch with the Heads of Production at BT, ITV, EUROSPORT, BSKYB, BBC, ESPN and CH4 and send your DVD’s to the right people who could fast track your career in the media.
