Using the PFA's Transfer List
Throughout the year, the PFA maintains an online Transfer List, which gives clubs direct access to players that are currently available.
Clubs can search for players based on pre-set criteria such as position, transfer status, previous experience, age and height.
It is a simple tool for managers, coaches and scouts as they search for a suitable signing, and once registered for the service clubs can contact available players directly via the online platform.
The Transfer Directory is used in all four tiers of professional football in England but it also attracts interest from much further afield. International enquiries have come from the MLS, A-League and the SPL, and as far afield as India, China, UAE and Singapore.
Adding your details to the Transfer List …
PFA Members – to add your details to the Transfer List, register an account on ThePFA.com and complete the brief form that can be found on your account page.
If you are out-of-contract, or your existing club has stated in writing that you may seek new opportunities – it is vital that you add your details to the Transfer List.
In order to allow clubs to contact either you directly or your representatives, please ensure contact details are kept up to date.
Clubs accessing the Transfer List …
To access the PFA’s transfer list, clubs simply need to register for the service. Access is free of charge.
Please send an email to email@example.com.
Please include the following details so we can create an online account:
- Staff Name
- Position held at the club.
- Email address
Clubs can set up multiple accounts for staff, however for security purposes please indicate a main contact. The nominated main contact will receive contact details for any requested players via email.
Please note we will only respond to emails sent from official club email addresses.
The PFA's transition section helps connect PFA members and with potential employers! Members can search for jobs and showcase their CV, whilst clubs and relevant organisations can contact potential candidates directly.
